So never eat Trans Fats ever! Check all of your processed food labels and make sure it says 0g Trans Fat and has no mention of partial hydrogenated oil (which is just another word for trans fat). Not full or complete, because that is not a form of trans fat. Trans Fat never leaves your body, so it clogs up your arteries, which can lead to heart disease, depression, infertility, obesity, organ dysfunctions, etc. Even though small quantities do occur naturally in meat, it is important to not consume more than necessary!
Foods with trans fat to keep an eye out for are:
– Anything processed, ex. Cookies, crackers, muffins, cakes, bread, chips, candy
– Fried food: donuts, fries, chicken nuggets
My rule of thumb: if it has a label, read it!
